Sacrament of Reconciliation & Eucharist 

It is the policy of the Diocese of Metuchen, Office of Catechesis, that children preparing for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist  are required to prepare for a period of two years. Thus, a child must attend the first and second levels of religious formation classes to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, namely 1st and 2nd grade.

Students enrolled in our program attend meetings twice a month on Mondays either at 4:45 p.m. or 6:45 p.m. located in our Spiritual Formation Center. 

The celebration of First Reconciliation (Penance) takes place in February and the celebration of First Eucharist in May both during the second year. 

Registration for the 2024-2025 Religious Education year will open on March 4th, 2024.
