Knights of Columbus Christmas Tree Memorialization

Once again, St. Magdalen’s will celebrate the Christmas season by illuminating the front of our parish by erecting beautiful, six-foot, real cut Christmas trees, decorated with white lights. Each tree will be available to be memorialized for someone living, deceased, or with a Christmas greeting.

The trees will be affixed with a large sign containing the name(s) to be remembered. We will have 2 tree lighting events this year. The 1st will be after the after the Vigil Mass on Tue, Dec 7, and the 2nd will be after evening Mass on Wed, Dec 8 for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. We will gather outside of church for a blessing & lighting of the trees. They will remain lit each evening from 6:00 pm-midnight throughout the entire Christmas season until the Feast of the Epiphany in January.

The cost to memorialize one of these beautiful trees is $200 and may be shared by up to 2 families. This will help cover the cost of the trees, the lighting, and the memorial donation. Proceeds will benefit the Charitable and Outreach programs of the Parish and the Knights of Columbus. The number of trees this year is limited to 85, so reserve yours soon. Reservation Forms are located in the back in the Narthex and in the Parish Office. The brilliance of the light of the New Born Savior will shine in Flemington this year in a new and exciting way!
